Hi there,

I'm a paralegal in Dallas, Texas and I started my own company in March of this year. I'm just curious what other paralegals are looking for. Basically I offer on-call trial support services because I know when I worked in firms, I was always running around like crazy during trial. I have a few good clients but I want to grow of course. Any ideas or suggestions how I should market myself to other firms? Do you think I should market directly to the paralegals or to the lawyers? What services would you all pick up the phone and call someone to help you with during a crunch if you knew that service was available? Any advice y'all have would be greatly appreciated!

Visit your old law firms and tell them what you are doing. Send out postcards to the attorneys in your local area. I would hate to receive a phone call, honestly. Good Luck.

Welcome, whitm80.

While I don't know your part of the world, in mine, I'd let my Clerk's office personnel know what I'm doing/offering as they are the ones who know who's stretched to the limit and in need of help.
