This article was written inconjunction with the ABA conference held in San Francisco earlier this year.  The ABA also has a downloadable booklet entitled "ABA Model guidelines for the use of Utilization of Paralegal Services."

I attended a CLE workshop a couple of weeks ago on that topic presented at one of the state universities here.  It was very informative.
